Why we exist
Our mission
The Uplift Foundation connects generosity with meaningful opportunity for students, young people, and families.
Our work is grounded in practical service—scholarships that move education forward, mentoring that builds confidence, and partnerships that respond to community needs with dignity and care.

Community Leader • Public Servant
Leadership is measured by the lives strengthened, the doors opened, and the example left for the next generation.
A member of Delta Rho Chapter and The Uplift Foundation, Mack Jacobi Burgess reflects a commitment to educational advocacy and service across Williamsburg County. His work as the District 2 representative on the Williamsburg County School District Board of Trustees is part of a larger story of local leaders investing in the communities they call home.
Trust through clarity
The Uplift Foundation Inc. operates as a separate South Carolina nonprofit corporation. Its charitable work, governance, finances, and public identity are maintained independently.

Partnership in action
The Uplift Foundation supported Delta Rho Chapter’s Sundresses & Linen Summer Kickback Experience in June 2026.
The event illustrates how the two organizations can work side by side while maintaining their separate identities: Delta Rho presents the chapter event, and the Foundation provides support through its own community-focused mission.
